Hare in the making

Finding My Way to selling online.
There's something rather lovely about starting a painting with a blank canvas and absolutely no guarantee of how it's going to turn out.
I'm the artist behind Vista Ireland, and I've been rediscovering lately just how much I love painting.
My creative journey hasn't followed a straight line. I've always loved art, especially watercolours, but life has a habit of taking you in different directions. Now I'm making more time for painting, experimenting with different styles and seeing where my imagination takes me.
At the moment, I'm particularly drawn to bold colours, interesting textures and artwork with a little personality.
I'm recently exploring folk art, with decorative flowers, foliage and animals. My latest project is a rather large hare, it's going to be in the shop in a few days.
I don't want to be tied to one subject or style. Part of the enjoyment is trying something new, making discoveries and changing my mind halfway through!
From My Easel to Your Walls. One of the reasons I've opened my Printumo gallery is that I'd love my paintings to find homes beyond my own walls. I am downsizing my home and I no longer have space anymore. There's something special about knowing a piece of my artwork might compliment somebody else's living room, become a thoughtful gift or simply make someone smile.
I'll be gradually adding fine-art reproductions of selected original paintings to the gallery as my collection grows. It's still early days, and there are plenty more paintings waiting to be finished, photographed and added.
