About the Artist

Hello, and welcome to Vista Ireland!

I'm an artist and photographer living on the beautiful coast of Northern Ireland, where I'm constantly inspired by nature and the world around me.

I've always been a creative person, happiest when I'm painting, taking photographs or experimenting with something new. My artwork ranges from colourful, playful to textured acrylics, delicate watercolours and whatever else I am in the mood to create.

I have a particular soft spot for animals, especially cats and seagulls! In fact, I even have a pet seagull called Simon, who has become quite a character in his own right. Those who have followed my adventures for a while will already know all about Simon and my rather unusual affection for seagulls!

Travel is another great passion of mine. I love exploring beautiful places, discovering hidden corners and I try to capture those  moments through my work.

I don't believe creativity should be confined to one style or subject. Sometimes my work is colourful and whimsical, sometimes it's more traditional, and occasionally I randomly follow an idea to see where it takes me.
